Senior Java Developer - Assistant Vice President

Senior Software Developer(C12) Enterprise Application Development | System Design | AI-Enabled Engineering   Position Summary Seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer with 6+ years of experience designing, building and supporting enterprise applications. The individual will own end-to-end delivery across the SDLC, provide technical leadership, and leverage modern AI technologies to build smarter products and improve engineering productivity.   Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. • Lead architecture, system design, performance optimization, and resiliency initiatives. • Participate in requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. • Mentor developers, conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices. • Build REST APIs and integrate with enterprise platforms and databases. • Drive CI/CD, DevOps, automation and cloud-native development practices. • Identify opportunities to apply AI, ML, and GenAI capabilities to business products. Must have Skills : • High level understanding of Java language,  we currently run on Java 21 version. • High level understanding of Microservices and cloud infrastructure -  like Springboot, Redis, ECS Platform (Kubernetes/openshift, harness, lightspeed) • Knowledge of testing frameworks, like FAST, cucumber, Junit • SQL Experience using Oracle • Strong analytic skills • Good communication skills,  Good to have Skills : • Experience with Kafka • Experience with Github, Jira, Sonarcube, Linux • Technical design & infrastructure design experience • Experience using AI tools for assisting with Development • Working with a global team   Required Technical Skills • 8+ years of software development experience. • Expertise Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL/Oracle, data structures and algorithms. • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, design patterns, and enterprise architecture. • Experience with Git, JIRA, Jenkins/TeamCity, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux. • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC best practices.   AI, Machine Learning & GenAI Skills • Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot, Devin or similar AI coding assistants. • Understanding of ML concepts including Isolation Forest for anomaly detection and LSTM models for forecasting and predictive analytics. • Familiarity with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector search. • Experience or working knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, Agent Development Kit (ADK). • Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, intelligent assistants, and AI-powered product development.   Leadership & Success Profile ·        Self-motivated, innovative, and results-oriented professional. ·        Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ·        Ability to influence architecture decisions and collaborate with senior stakeholders. ·        Committed to quality, security, risk management, and continuous improvement.
