Accessibility
Effective date: October 31, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Dyalo, including people with visual, hearing, motor, speech or cognitive disabilities. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Dyalo is new, and we have not had an independent accessibility audit yet, so some parts may not fully meet these guidelines.
What Dyalo offers today
- Keyboard use: buttons, menus and forms can be reached with the Tab key, with a visible focus outline. The Job board has a "Skip to job search" link.
- Screen readers: form fields and buttons have labels, and result counts are announced.
- Text for every voice: everything Dyalo says aloud is also shown as text, and you can download it as Word or PDF.
- Typing instead of speaking: every text box can be typed in; the Speak (microphone) buttons are optional.
- Reading comfort: light and dark themes; the Teleprompter lets you change font size, font and colors, and scroll by hand.
- 68 languages for the interface, with your browser's zoom fully supported.
Known limits
- Speaking scores (clarity, pace, pronunciation) are made for typical speech and may not be fair for people with speech disabilities or strong accents. Treat them as practice feedback only.
- Voice following in the Teleprompter needs a microphone and a supported browser.
- Some charts and animations may not be fully described for screen readers yet.
- Jobs on the Job board link to employers' own websites, which Dyalo does not control and which may not be accessible.

Dyalo is a practice tool. It does not guarantee a job offer, visa, admission or any other result.
